The task involved the core renovation of a two-story reinforced concrete skeleton building constructed in 1960, including the addition of an extra floor and the installation of an elevator.
A complete structural renovation and reinforcement of the building was carried out, along with the modernization of energy, electrical, supply, and waste disposal systems to meet current technical standards and the requirements of the new intended use. The existing Ast-Moulin slab ceilings are exposed in the office spaces, creating a historic aesthetic.
The existing windows are being replaced with floor-to-ceiling window systems, including shading elements, designed to provide optimal sound insulation from street noise. Safety-related systems were implemented, including fire protection and surveillance installations. In addition, photovoltaic systems were planned on the roof for power generation, and e-charging stations for micro- and macromobility were planned along the façade. Climate control is provided via a VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) system, which is also partially powered by the photovoltaic system.
